Vincent has had a stunning few months with his progeny on the track and the recent weekend was another superb example with stakes winners on both sides of the Tasman.

In New Zealand, the Mark Jones trained Francent became Vincent’s latest Group 1 winner when claiming the Queen Of Hearts at Alexandra Park on Friday night.

Although won in unfortunate circumstances, the win was Francent’s fourth consecutive victory at stakes level since October and ensured that she is second highest earning female pacer in New Zealand for 2025 – behind only the dual Oaks winner Arafura.

It was her tenth career win overall and took her earnings to $217,930.

Bred by Robert Higgins, Francent is out of the unraced Courage Under Fire mare Mary Niven.

Across the Tasman the following night, Arrhythmia continued her spectacular freshman season, easily taking out the Group 2 Breeders Crown 2YO Pacing Fillies Final at Melton.

The Emma Stewart trained filly swept to the lead early and made it a procession from there on out, scoring by a length.

Having also claimed the Group 2 Vicbred Super Series Final back in November, Arrhythmia has now won eight of her nine race-day starts and banked $141,010 in stakes earnings.

Like Francent, she is out of a Direct Scooter line mare, being out of the three-win Somebeachsomewhere mare Jo An Leonie.
