Creatine mare repeats in Stakes Race win

Faith In Manchester, by Creatine, claimed her second Group 3 Waikato Trotting Breeders Stakes at Cambridge on Friday night with a dominant display.

The Michelle Wallis and Bernie Hackett trained mare settled near the tail of the field off her 20m handicap before getting a cart into the race on the back of Loteria with 800m to run.

Three-wide turning for home, Faith In Manchester quickly put paid to the result, trotting out to a commanding five and a quarter length win.

It was the 6-year-old mare’s 13^th career win and took her earnings to more than $280,000.

Bred and raced by Heather and Russell Steel, Faith In Manchester is out of the Earl mare Manchester Lass, herself a winner at Group 3 level.
